Sanctuary of Truth

The Sanctuary of Truth is a majestic wooden building, filled with sculptures based on traditional Buddhist and Hindu motifs. Every centimetre of the 20-storey building is covered with beautiful wood carvings of Hindu and Buddhist gods and goddesses.

Pattaya Floating Market

Covering over 100,000 sq.m. a stroll through the Four Regions Floating Market is a fun way to spend a day. The market is divided into four sections; each represents the four regions of the Kingdom – north, northeast, central and south – all the different area of the market sells products from their respective regions.

Big Buddha Hill (Wat Phra Yai)

Lay eyes on the largest Statue of Buddha in the region , a top Pratamnak hill overlooking the Pattaya Bay area. An atmosphere of serenity , the smell of incense and people praying will sure to provide a memorable experience. A long stairway surrounded by two golden coloured Naga snakes leads to the Golden Buddha image, that was constructed in 1977.

Buddha Mountain (Khao Chi Chan)

The image of Buddha engraved on the side of a solitary limestone mountain on 1996 to commemorate His Majesty the King of Thailand's golden jubilee. A place with unmatched beauty and tranquility and truly one of Pattaya's most noticeable landmarks.

  • Buddha image is 130 metres high and 70 metres wide
  • Dressing appropriately is recommended as it is a religious site

Viharn Sien Temple and Museum

The Viharn Sien is a stunning Chinese temple, located just south of Pattaya, and now used as a museum. It houses a large number of important artefacts, such as granite carvings, old paintings, bronze and earthenware, sculptures of Chinese Gods, Buddha statues and a jade statue of Guanyin, the Chinese Goddess of Mercy. Some items are even from the famous Chinese Ming Dynasty.

  • It was built for the late king Bhumibol Adulyadej's 60th birthday
  • One of the best Chinese museums in Asia outside of China
